The Beam Foundation
The Beam Foundation is focused on the relief of poverty, for the public benefit. This is including but not exclusively for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, refugees, individuals with disabilities and individuals who have a criminal record, in such ways as the charity trustees think fit, including by: (A) providing assistance to find employment; (B) funding including by means of crowdfunding, educational courses and training aimed to help individuals find employment; (C) promoting financial security through education and employment; and (D) providing and evaluating services to such individuals which directly or indirectly prevent, relieve, reduce or end their homelessness. We do this through partnerships and grants to other organisations who enable delivery on the ground. Until recently, this service was provided by Beam Up Ltd and together we supported more than 5,000 people out of homelessness and into jobs, training and homes, having raised over £5.5m from generous donors during the partnership. That partnership has now ended and so we are temporarily pausing fundraising activities while we assess other potential partners and options. To contact us, you can fill out the form below. Please remember all of our Trustees are volunteers so replies may be slower.
